I hope my questions are clear enough and that I could get some enlightenment.

And BTW looking at the pDrive, how do you recognize folders and files that are in live-sync from the ones that are just in the cloud? Plus you get the option to backup to the cloud with pDrive, freeing up space on your local disk. Again, am I right? Is this the way it is supposed to work?įor my understanding pCloud gives you a 1:1 mirror with the cloud, but not really with other machines. I will see it in the pDrive, falling more or less back to Scenario 1. With pCLoud, if I just sync the folder, from say Work laptop, I will not have it replicated in its default position on Home pc. Using Dropbox, on both machines I move such folder into it and then tell Windows its new location. With the Lifetime Plan, I have made a clear one-time investment, which is very convenient for me. The synchronization works absolutely perfectly on multiple Macs and iPads. With pCloud I can directly select the folders to sync, which I personally find very good. I want to live-sync the whole disk E: of my work laptop but my Home pc doesn't have a third disk, so where will the files be placed? In the Home pDrive (locally? in the cloud?)? If this is the case I won't have a 1:1 mirrored sync like dropbox. After a long search probably the best choice.

So before making my wallet lighter, I'd highly appreciate a help to clear my doubts from real customers like you guys. I also got in contact with the Support but their answears is more or less a copy&paste from the FAQ. I did some tests but they didn't help me understand the way the syncing it's supposed to work. I'm actually confused though by the difference between pDrive and live-sync.

I'm currently using Dropbox as my main sync service, but I'm highly interested in the current 75% off promotion on the 2TB lifetime plan.
